Continous Power for my SMH10

Went to Makjeff's place today (Sharrif Auto) to install my 12DV charger for my Senna SMH10 Bluetooth Module as I don't want to be without music or intercom for the whole duration of the KK trip.

All we needed were the female 12DV socket, my senna cable and some fantastic metal fabrication of Makjeff's super ace mechanic. Fantastic job and it only cost $20. The socket is $13, total is $33 for a job well done.

The tinkering begins by measuring and fabricating a special metal bracket on which the female socket will be slotted into.

After approximately 30 minutes of tinkering, we decided to place the unit underneath the rear seat cover. It has plenty of space and I can remove the charger and leave it unplugged when I don't need it.

Super ace mechanic from Sharrif Auto. Makjeff's have done it again. He did all the fabrication and wiring. The unit will only be powered if my ignition is on.

The finished installation after some painting on the metal bracket. The cable is then routed to the front seat and comes out from my left to my module (on my helmet). When not in use, I just have to unplug the socket on the rear seat and leave the rest of the cable underneath my main seat. Brilliant and it's water proof as well.

Kasut Baru untuk Raya kan !!

Bite the bullet and bought a set of Bridgestone Battlax BT-023 Sports Touring tyres today (with a 190/50 rear, no 55 profile available at the shop). Just finished my run in (90km) with moderate lean angle and conservative throttle and braking. Feels good so far. The only difference I can feel (I'm no valentino rossi to know what feels like what) is that the bike leans in sharper and it feels a bit lighter (not loose). Hopefully this tires will have good range for the type of riding that I do.

Rear (190/50/17) Stock were 200/50

Front is default 120/70

I've reset my trip 2 for this tyre and let the counting begins. My previous lasted 3200km (Dunlop Qualifier - the stock sticky b-king rubber) (well, I can still use it but the middle is almost bald)

2 More B-King Spoken For

Just heard from Jeff (Samseng Sharrif Auto) that the silver B-King (last remaining non-ABS in Batu Besurat Showroom) have been registered today. The black B-King (damaged Black B-King at Warisan showroom) is too already booked by a customer. Looks like there will be 4 B-King on the road now.

King Kong very thirsty nowadays

When I first got my b-king a couple of weeks ago, I was still learning it's quirks and getting to grips of it's monstrous throttle response (even at B Mode - which is 70% of full power). Coming from a 1300cc cruiser, this thing is a rocket ship. Anyway, a full tank of gas (approx BND$6) would give me roughly about 240km range easy before the low fuel indicator blinks at me. Now that I'm in constant (A-Mode - full afterburner power) and giving the throttle quite a bit of a workout, I'm lucky if I don't get that blinking low fuel indicator at 180-190km range. That's a bit too thirsty if you ask me. This will pose a problem to it's touring capabilities, but then again I can just switch it back to B-Mode and be a little gentle on the ol throttle. Nah !, I don't think so, what's the point of getting a 181hp bike if you're going to limit it's power to 70%, wasting time. Fuel is cheap, just have to stop more frequently I guess.

A Dirty Little Bitch Gets Her Bath

She was a dirty little bitch. I had to drag her aside and soap her up real good, I made her really wet and squirted lots of thick soapy liquid on her belly. Now she's a clean little girl. But deep down, I really wanted her to be a dirty little bitch.

A new big baby was born..

On the 5th of July 2010 @ approximately 4pm, a Silver B-King was born. Weighing at 235 kg (518 lbs.). It was raining heavily on the day so it took awhile for the Daddy to bring her home.

Congrats from PKMG.
