Sena Bluetooth Intercom for Motorcycle

Got the Sena SMH10 Motorcycle Bluetooth Headset & Intercom unit today. A set comes with 2 units (so you can buy one set and split the cost with a friend). It will fit almost all fullface type helmets.

The set comes complete with a pair of speakers, mouthpiece, all mounting accesorries, chargers and of course the bluetooth module itself.

Have to remove the cheekpads to insert the wiring loom for the speakers. Will post more pictures when I have this properly setup.

In a nutshell, this unit will be able to play your music from your iPhone (or any bluetooth phone with A2DP protocol), make or receive calls and also act as a full duplex intercom with a 1 Kilometre range (which is plenty enough, we've tried this and it really works like a charm). So imagine, you are now riding listening to your favourite tunes, and someone calls you, all you have to do is just press the answer button on the side of your helmet and when you're done, you music kicks back in. If you want to talk to your riding partner (it can be paired up to 2 other units), you just press the intercom button and talk and when you're done, press the same button, your music kicks back in. The priority is intercom, phone then music. I'll be testing this unit more in the coming weeks and provide more details on it's performance. Anybody interested in getting a unit can go to http://www.ave.com.bn/ (Happy Bluetoothing !!!)
